3 major places i have went to..basically cheng du, emei shan and jiu zhai gou.
speaking of cheng du, i enjoyed my shopping hours there and cant wait to ask for more! Especially tai hua shopping centre where bargaining is allowed and i bought some bags there..and later on to another shopping centre similar to bugis street where i bought some cherry hair clips etc. i truly hope that i can go back cheng du next time to shop for summer clothes!
emei shan-
its tough to reach the golden peak of emei shan as the glaring sun grdually melt the layers of snow on the floor. walking up the steps of staircase is so tricky..it seems like iceskating as it is so slippery! Nevertheless, when i reach the golden peak, the scenery is fabulous and i did not regret panting up the stairs. Emei shan is huge as we had to take a cable car up the mountain too. And it has the honour to be the place where i first see snow!
jiu zhai gou:
the term jiu zhai refers to nine tribes living in this valley. This is truly paradise! Colurful ponds and snow mountains and waterfalls were spoted!!!Two thumbs up for the five star hotel we stayed in..intercontinental jiu zhai paradise is so comfy and pretty! There are ducks in the pond and the buffet spread is good too.
旅行果真是先苦后甜。 在九天当中， 吃尽了苦头也得到了甜蜜的回报。 我也第一次怀念了新加坡的食物。 虽然常常埋怨吃到很腻， 但是还是会想念新加坡的海南鸡饭等。真是‘失去了才会更加珍惜’。但然卫生环境如厕所， 还有艰难的山路也时时刻刻考验我们的耐力。 但所谓先苦后甜, 到了九寨沟， 一切都是值得的。
相信一二月的冬天会更加冷， 因此惠琪， 你会有机会看雪的！ 祝福你！
冬天的必备：
longjohn msut bring as many as possible( outer clothes not as important)
bring more gloves.
prepare your camera and batteries
msut buy the internaitonal plug system as china's plug is different from ours
bagpack for mountain climbing
always bring spoons and chopsticks*
birng extra money
if going shopping trip, no need to bring extra luiggage , can buy the lcoal luggage
beware of luggage limit!
